- Ann or out? With the Rahm Emanuel residency case apparently headed for the Illinois Supreme Court, BGA and the Sun-Times look at recusal statistics on the high court, which includes Justice Ann Burke, wife of Chicago alderman Ed Burke, who supports Gery Chico for mayor. This is part of the BGA‘s review of the Illinois court system.
- Huh? The Appellate Court ruling knocking the mayoral frontrunner off the ballot is roundly criticized on the editorial pages of both the Sun-Times and the Trib. Take your pick.
